LONDON Nike Presto White , June 12 (Xinhua) -- London Zoo announced Monday itscollection of wild animals is to be joined this summer by the mostcolossal creatures ever to walk the earth, dinosaurs.


For six weeks, visitors to the famous zoo will be taken back intime to a prehistoric world where they will come face-to-face withlife-size, moving dinosaurs.


The new herd of animals will include the giant but gentlebrachiosaurus to the towering tyrannosaurus rex.

LONDON Nike Presto , Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- British police issued new guidance Thursday to help improve security at the country's football stadia.


Representatives from the major clubs across the country attended counter-terrorism awareness workshops at Wembley in London and Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.


Football supporters, in advice directed at them, have also been told not to wait around to film incidents on their mobile cellphones if told to evacuate in emergency situations.


The National Counter Terrorism Security Office has been working with the English Premier League, English Football League (EFL) and Football Association (FA) to help improve stadium security.


Police Superintendent Dave Roney, Deputy National Coordinator for Protect and Prepare, said: "While there is no specific intelligence of an increased threat to football grounds in the UK Cheap Nike Air Presto , we have seen that terrorists are prepared to carry out attacks on this type of target.


"We have been pleased with the response from the football authorities in attending our events and making renewed efforts to do all they can to keep supporters safe."

The advice follows the recent bomb attack on the Manchester Arena as well as terror attacks in London.

SAN FRANCISCO, July 20 (Xinhua) -- A new study shows that"infant-directed speech," often called "parentese," the speechstyle parents use to talk to their babies, which has simplergrammar Nike Air Presto Triple Black , higher and exaggerated pitch, and drawn-out vowels, iseffective for infants to learn foreign language.


"Our research shows that parentese helps babies learn language,"said Naja Ferjan Ramirez, a research scientist at the University ofWashington (UW) Institute of Learning & Brain Sciences(I-LABS), about the study published this week in Mind Nike Air Presto Triple White , Brain, andEducation, a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal.


For years, scientists and parents have touted the benefits ofintroducing babies to two languages, as bilingual experience hasshown to improve cognitive abilities, especially problem-solving.For infants raised in households where two languages are spoken Nike Air Presto Burgundy ,that bilingual learning happens almost effortlessly. But how canbabies in monolingual households develop such skills?


In the new study, researchers developed a play-based, intensive,English-language method and curriculum and implementing it in fourpublic infant-education centers in Madrid, Spain.


Sixteen UW undergraduates and recent graduates served as tutors,undergoing two weeks of training at I-LABS to learn the teachingmethod and curriculum before traveling to Spain. The European country's extensive public education system enabledthe researchers to enroll 280 infants and children from families ofvarying income levels.


Babies aged 7 to 33.5 months were given one hour of Englishsessions a day for 18 weeks, while a control group received theMadrid schools' standard bilingual program. Both groups of childrenwere tested in Spanish and English at the start and end of the 18weeks. The children also wore special vests outfitted withlightweight recorders that recorded their English learning. Therecordings were analyzed to determine how many English words andphrases each child spoke.
